Growing physical therapy clinic in Maple Lawn looking for a dynamic individual to manage front desk responsibilities and assist clinic director with patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual enthusiastic about exercise science and improving people’s lives to help shape the operations of a practice. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and a true team player. Recent graduates or students focusing on health sciences or exercise science, personal trainers, or those thinking about pursuing personal training or physical therapy are highly encouraged to apply. Experience with patient intake, insurance verification, and filing/charting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

This pivotal position will have important job responsibilities, including:

  • Engaging potential and current patients with the highest degrees of professionalism while answering phones and scheduling patients and performing patient check-in and check-out
  • Performing patient setup and assisting patient with exercises under the direct supervision of the therapist
  • Performing patient intake and verification of insurance / benefits
  • Ensuring patient safety and clinic cleanliness at all times
  • Managing equipment and supply inventory
  • Assisting clinic director with marketing efforts

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma
  • CPR/AED Certified
  • Positive attitude, friendly nature, and above all a willingness to help clients achieve their best lives
  • Background/strong interest in health sciences
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, internet navigation
  • Some experience or exposure to front desk responsibilities at a healthcare or fitness facility is preferred

Job Type: Part-time (3-4 days per week required; morning, mid-day, some evenings).

Compensation: depends on experience.
