The primary function of the Jr. Loan Processor is to assist the Sr. Loan Processor with obtaining 3
rd party documentation for the loan file.

What you will do:

  • Ordering the Appraisal of the subject property. (if not completed by the LOA)
    • Obtaining borrower credit card information
    • Placing order
    • Following up with any order issues and keeping LP informed
  • Ordering Tax Transcripts:
    • Ensure accuracy of 4506T form for ordering
    • Placing the order
    • Retrieving results and insuring they are complete and uploaded for LP review
  • Ordering Condo Documentation (when applicable)
    • Review of HOA contact
    • Placing order
    • Follow up with HOA for additional items needed
    • Uploading completed documents and ensuring they are complete for LP review
  • Ordering Verbal Verifications of Employment
    • Review of 1003 and employment docs to ensure proper employer contact
    • Contacting employer
    • Completing Verbal Verification form
    • Uploading of form for LP review
  • Ordering Written Verifications of Employment
    • Review of 1003 and employment docs to ensure proper employer contact
    • Contacting employer
    • Completing Full Written Verification form
    • Uploading of the completed form for LP review
  • Ordering Updated Hazard and/or Flood Insurance policies
    • Review of current Hazard Dec Page
    • Contacting Insurance Company
    • Requesting updates to mortgagee clause and loan#
    • Uploading of updated Dec Page once received for LP review
  • Ensure proper verification of credit card charges for any 3rd party orders
    • Tracking of payment details
    • Tracking of receipts for management
  • Review and ensure all documentation required is complete, accurate, verified, and complies with AmeriHome policy and investor requirements.
  • Perform any additional duties/activities assigned by management

What we need:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills – ability to build rapport quickly
  • Technology savvy, must be able to operate a computer and have experience email platforms
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

A plus – not required

  • Mortgage experience
  • Working knowledge of Encompass
  • Bachelor’s Degree
