Brand Ambassador/Sales Associate

Anytime Fitness Fairmount

Anytime Fitness Fairmount is seeking an experienced and high-level certified personal trainer to join our team! Our facility is highly regarded by Fairmount area residents, and as a trainer, you’ll have access to a wide array of equipment and tools to help your clients succeed. At Anytime Fitness, we cater to a wide variety of demographics, and you’ll have the opportunity to train clients of all age ranges, backgrounds, and goal types. More importantly, as a part of a small, close-knit team that focuses on member satisfaction over making a specific sales quota, you’ll feel like you’re truly making a positive change in our members’ lives.

Our club is known for the talent and quality of its trainers, and, as a member of that team, you would enjoy above industry-average compensation and a flexible work schedule that you set yourself. The position will start out part-time, however, it has the potential to become a full-time role. Because of this, we expect that if you’re applying to work with us, you’re currently a personal trainer, and have been actively training clients for at least a year. We also expect that you hold a current, high-level certification–examples include NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, and similarly well-regarded certifications. If you’re selected for an interview, be prepared to perform a mock training session at the conclusion.

If you’re selected for the job, compensation through part-time desk hours and paid group classes will be required in order to start building a book of clients.

*An outgoing, confident, laid back personality with strong soft skills.

*Ability to work well in a small business setting, closely with your teammates.

*Strong work ethic; willingness to create your own business by engaging potential clients through phone calls and FRIENDLY (but not “salesy”) chats with members in the club.

*Desire to learn about the facility operations and proactive willingness to help out if something happens while training during un-staffed member-services hours.

*Wide range of availability. The hours and clients are here for this to be a full-time trainer job if you’re flexible.

*Ability to adapt routines on the fly. This goes without saying if you’ve been a trainer for 1+ years, but, if a client responds poorly to an exercise, you should be able to quickly think of another one that accomplishes similar outcomes.

*Current CPT, CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.

*Cover letter.

*B.S. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related discipline.

*An accredited personal trainer certification from NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA.

*Group Exercise Experience.
