Omni Fight Club

Job Summary

It is the purpose of the Coach to prepare and execute assigned classes and studio functions with intention and positive energy. The coach encourages members to achieve goals and be the best version of themselves. He/she provides personal connection while managing a large group class, keeping safety and proper body mechanics at the forefront and making corrections as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Energetically Execute Omni Fight Club programming as written
  • Understand the focus of programming prior to coaching it
  • Coach using Myzone technology
  • Make daily announcements and actively promote Omni Fight Club products and events/workshops
  • Follow Omni Fight Club programming, protocols and procedures as defined by the Management Platform and the Employee Handbook
  • Coach in a group setting that allows you to engage with members while maintaining a safe workout experience
  • Walk the LAF fitness floor engage members and try to recruit them to take a class
  • Provide a clean hygienic workout space
  • Sanitize after each class and reset the workout floor in accordance with cleaning check list
  • Set up / break-down the workout floor for the following day if you’re the last class of the evening
  • Check that all equipment is operating and functional, communicate to studio manager if anything needs to be replaced/fixed
  • Reconcile accurate class attendance
  • Wear Omni Fight Club approved attire

  • Contribute to the social media presence across platforms
  • Participation in special events
  • Membership enrollment, retail sales, and marketing
  • Promote the company’s safety goals and actively work towards ensuring a safe working environment
  • Provide open and positive communication with colleagues
  • Attend department meetings and maintain confidentiality
  • Conduct oneself at all times in a manner of professionalism that aligns with the values, philosophies and standards of Omni Fight Club policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least one year of group training/group exercise experience highly desired
  • Personal Training certification preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Bachelor’s in exercise science preferred
  • Current CPR/AED required

Working Conditions

  • The working conditions are those of a fitness club
  • Must enjoy high paced, high energy environment
  • Physical Requirements: be able to execute exercises and movements in OFC programming
  • The coach is expected to work early mornings (5:00 am) and/or late evenings (9:15 pm) and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $55.00 per hour
