Orangetheory Fitness Clintonville

As an OTF Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned to our members and potential members. This position requires a strong ability to coach and manage time, motivating multiple clients in a group setting. An OTF Coach must focus on a well-rounded theory of fitness, including endurance, strength, and power, using the tools given to optimize the client’s experience and result.

Responsibilities:

Below is a list of duties and responsibilities a Fitness Coach for Orangetheory Fitness

· Reports to Head Coach and indirectly to the Studio Manager.

· Deliver predesigned workouts to groups of up to 30 clients (or more if 3 group)

· Energize and motivate clients throughout the sessions · Build OTF attendance and retain current clientele

· Ensure that the studio is clean and neat before and after classes. Spot clean studio after clients, as

needed.

· Ensure safety of participants in regard to heart rate and exercise technique

· Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels and needs

· Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations

· Handle member concerns as needed

· Assist sales associates with OTF studio tour. Pre-class orientations, and sales

· Possess intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics

· Be able to multi-task and stay organized

· Have positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills

· Have the desire and capacity to train all fitness levels

· Attend and participate in all relevant OTF training programs and community events

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

·Must hold current fitness certification from an OTF approved education company such as ACSM,

ACE, NASM, NCSA, or AFFA

· Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics

· Ability to multi-task and stay organized

· Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in an exercise-related field is preferred

CPR/AED certification

1+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40lbs
