Radeas is seeking either student or certified athletic trainers to partner with us in providing operational and logistical support for our drive through and off site testing services. Radeas is looking for employees with strong leadership and teamwork skills that will help us grow into the future.

The purpose of Radeas Laboratories is to bring radical ideas in analytical testing to the clinical laboratory. By applying unique analytical methods and a highly specific approach, Radeas can provide the best possible service to healthcare providers by offering a method that is sensitive, selective, and efficient. In response to COVID-19 we have continued to execute and deliver the same level of commitment to our surrounding community. Radeas Labs has been at the forefront of COVID-19 testing since the start of the pandemic by offering Saliva, Nasopharyngeal, and Mid-Turbinate swab RT-PCR testing as well as Antibody Testing at our current drive through site.

Based on a foundation of quality service, transparency, and innovation, Radeas is looking for qualified individuals to join us as we grow and expand our COVID-19 Drive Through Testing Team. This team is focused on growing our partnership with Wake County to provide COVID-19 Drive Through Testing free of charge. The position will be responsible for the successful execution of testing services for anyone in need of COVID-19 testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Collect COVID-19 Saliva or Mid-Turbinate Swab samples
  • Set up, maintain, and break down equipment used in testing sites
  • When needed, transcribe patient information
  • When needed, directing traffic flow
  • Maintains a professional approach with confidentiality
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors and/or indoors dependent on COVID-19 testing site, and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for long periods of time. This position consists of shift work that varies dependent on COVID-19 testing site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, and or kneel for long periods of time. Work will at times require to lift up to 30 pounds of equipment. Weekly COVID-19 testing of staff strongly recommended.

Experience: Bachelor’s degree and/or 1 year healthcare related experience

Location: COVID-19 Testing Site

Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM

Start Date: 10/19/2020

Travel: Dependent on COVID-19 Testing Site

Duration: Through December 15, 2020, subject to change

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
